Centre of Excellence

Centre of Excellence was created and developed during 2016-2017 with the game engine Ren'py. The narrative positions the player as a new department chair starting their fall term. The university has announced that only a few departments will earn "Centre of Excellence" status by the end of the year, which comes with increased funding and prestige. Your job as chair is to gain your department enough Excellence Points to qualify, through combinations of hiring expensive research stars, cheap teaching associates, investing in technology, and possibly lying to others about your strategy. All while running a department and managing your fellow faculty. Mostly though it's a satire of university politics.
