One of the goals of this project is to push players who enjoy (or default to) playing the hero in games with ethical dilemmas is to try a new way of playing - as either 'bad' or morally ambiguous. People play as the hero for a multitude of reasons, as research I've done in the past has discovered. No matter the reason though, it can feel difficult, or uncomfortable, to try out a different style of play. But what are we missing if we only play in a certain way? For more background information on that original study, check it out here.
